Koga for iPhone
Privacy
A platform-specific draft for the iPhone build.
Status: verify against the Xcode project and App Store privacy answers before publishing.
Information kept by Koga
Koga includes features such as tabs, bookmarks, appearance preferences, and a saved homepage. Information needed for those features may be stored locally on the iPhone. The final policy must identify the exact storage technologies, retention behavior, and whether any of this information leaves the device.
Websites and WebKit
Koga displays websites using Apple web technology. When you visit a website, requests and information you submit are sent to that website and its service providers. Cookies, scripts, forms, advertising, analytics, and privacy practices on a visited website are controlled by that website and the relevant Apple components.
Files and permissions
A website may ask you to choose a file or grant a device permission. The final policy must describe which permissions Koga can request, why each permission is needed, and how selected files are handled. Confirm this from the app’s Info.plist, entitlements, privacy manifest, and tested release behavior.
Analytics, diagnostics, and crash reports
The supplied website archive does not establish whether the iPhone app uses analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs. Add an accurate disclosure only after reviewing the dependency list and runtime network activity.
App Store privacy information
The App Store listing should use privacy answers that match the released binary. Any change to data collection, linked data, tracking, SDKs, or account behavior requires the website policy and App Store disclosures to be reviewed together.
Website analytics
The Notavello pages may use their own privacy-friendly traffic measurement. This website behavior is separate from data handling inside the Koga iPhone app and should be covered by the applicable Notavello website policy.
Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through the Notavello contact page.
